The Meaning Behind Our Name
Meet our Founder
Calla Delsignore is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 14 years of experience in the medical field. She came by aesthetics as an avenue to combine her love of beauty, creative expression, and education to empower women.
Her minimalist approach to aesthetics places a high importance on skin health and whole-body wellness. Her mission is to connect deeply with her patients and engage in a shared decision-making process for their treatment plan. She strives to empower patients with knowledge, while also boosting their confidence.
She believes that every person is uniquely beautiful and her goal is to honor and elevate their best sense of self. Calla injects (pun intended) compassion and humor into her patient interactions and creates a safe space that makes them feel at ease.
Calla obtained her undergraduate degree from The University of Massachusetts and completed her master's degree at Frontier Nursing University, graduating both programs with high honors.
She has trained in neuromodulators (botox/dysport) and dermal fillers with many of the top injectors and key opinion leaders including Rana Kennelly and Erika Barry.
Her background in emergency medicine and family practice lend themselves well to her deep understanding of anatomy, physiology, and the whole human experience.
Her passion for aesthetics extends to her love of the arts, architecture, design, fashion, and nature. Her love of travel encompasses all of these things. She is a certified yoga instructor, a metalsmith trained in Italy, a horse girl at heart, and a professional shower singer.
When she is not working with patients, she can be found doing yoga, hiking, running, and biking throughout the beautiful Berkshires. She feels lucky to call Berkshire County home and loves nothing more than contributing to the community members around her and making the world a more loving and peaceful place.

Educated in Hawaii, she specializes in the power of touch, the importance of protection, and personalized skincare routines. Committed to staying at the forefront of the industry, she constantly seeks out the latest technologies to provide the best care and results for her clients
Esthetician
Emily LaDouceur
Emily LaDouceur is a licensed esthetician of 7 years. She began her career as an arch expert for Benefit Cosmetics and since then has been in the wellness resort industry for 5 years. Emily will be offering customized, results driven facials, while still providing an exceptionally relaxing experience. Skin care is a long time passion of Emily’s and she is excited to share her talent and knowledge.
When not in the treatment room Emily enjoys tending to her garden, reading, and walks with her dog Davis

Helen has been an essential part of L’io since the beginning, serving as our "right-hand gal" in every sense. A recent UMass Amherst marketing and communication graduate, Helen blends her expertise with a genuine warmth that makes every client feel welcome. Whether greeting guests at the front desk, creating social media content, organizing/running shoots or collaborating with businesses, Helen ensures our space is as inviting as it is professional. Originally from the Berkshires, Helen has a deep connection to the area, making her a familiar and friendly face to many.
